Last night...

was the first night in over a month where I had the opportunity to sleep past 630PM. Knowing this, I decided to drop two Tylenol PM and experience unadultered sleep, and boy did I ever. I took them around 930PM and was hit crazy hard within the hour. I don't recall a single thing from last night; usually I'm up at least three times. The last time I took these was when I had LASIK and apparently, I completely forgot just how well they work.

fox news is asking how to fund the $153 billion dollar job creation plan that will HELP OUR ECONOMY, but they don't have any issues with funding a multi-trillion dollar unjust and illegal war. How very convenient and spin-happy of them.

So let me get this straight;...

if I'm 8 pounds over on my checked bag I have to pay $50, but I can take stuff out, put all of it in a second checked bag (which will, of course, add more than the 8 pounds while also taking up more volume), and not pay $50? Anyone else think this is weird?

is Ralph Nader doing announcing his run for presidency? This man was a contributing factor to Gore losing in 2000, and I don't think he offers anything to this election but a distraction. He says he's running for the average American's rights, but I honestly think he's running due to his own ego. Why else would he continue to distract with his Independent bid when he has not shown to be viable the previous two attempts?

is not rocket science. When you see someone you really shouldn't continue to use the same sad line of, "Where you been? You just show up when you feel like it?" It doesn't even make sense, especially since you are the one who hasn't been around. It's even worse when you say it to one person, continue a conversation with that person, and then say it to someone else who walks by. Are you really that unoriginal? I would rather have you simply smile, keep your mouth closed, and move along your way. In fact, just stop talking all together, you're starting to annoy me.

Do you honestly think...

I care to hear your insignificant conversation about some price of some product that remains completely irrelevant to not just me BUT EVERY OTHER PERSON AROUND YOU? How incredibly selfish and egocentric do you really have to be? With today's phones your voice can be much lower; if you are so desperate for everyone to hear your pathetic words and have to talk loud why don't you try stepping out of earshot of the unfortunate people forced to share the same space with you? You really are sad and you have virtually no understanding of the technology your nubby fingers are touching.

interesting article regarding so-called "perfect dates" and what their true personality characteristics say about their relationship potential. Personally, I know several people, we'll call them clients, who don't exactly fit this exact method of analysis. For example, I know of some folks with the social grace of a slobbering dog but somehow they're married, and have been for quite some time. Go figure - perhaps their spouses are just as... different. I would like to think I'm an exception to this data but I suppose it would be best to ask the g-friend.

Tonight I finally...

threw out my glasses and contacts that have been staring at me since my surgery. It's an act of closure I've been meaning to exhibit since my first post-op appointment but for purely nostalgic reasons, I haven't. However, as of tonight it is finished! How very bizarre - I've worn glasses or contacts since I was ten years old... this evening is like parting with old friends.
